Perinatal Simulation Training for Critical Access Hospitals

These are free trainings funded by a grant from the NE DHHS’ Office of Rural Health. 

Target Audience: critical access providers, nurses, and respiratory therapists

Sessions begin at 6:00 pm with an hour of review with supper served.
5:45 — Supper
6:00 — Brief Review of Perinatal Topics
7:00-9:30 — Simulation Practice to include neonatal
resuscitation and high-risk deliveries

Practice and refine skills:
  Intubation,
  Positive Pressure Ventilation, 
  T-piece resuscitator,
  Bag Mask Ventilation,
  IO and IV insertion,
  Nasogastric insertion UAC/UVC insertion.
